Royal Air Maroc Increases U.S. Flights Ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup

Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc is boosting transatlantic flight capacity ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Company has added 32 special flights between Casablanca and major American host cities as Moroccan fans are expected to travel to the USA to support the Atlas Lions.

The additional flights,offering more than 8,800 additional seats to fans,


will connect Morocco with New York,Boston and Atlanta. These flights on long haul aircraft will operate between June 13 and June 27.

Hamid Addou,Head of Royal Air Maroc,said: “We are pleased to once again support the exceptional journey of the Atlas Lions during this global event. After the success of the special programs in Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022,Royal Air Maroc is once again mobilizing to allow Moroccan fans to follow this major football celebration alongside their national team.”

The Atlas Lions have chosen The Pingry School in Basking Ridge,New Jersey,as their base camp for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Morocco,Africa’s top ranked team and semi-finalists in 2022 World Cup,have been drawn in group C including Brazil,Scotland and Haiti. Their opening clash against Brazil,scheduled at MetLife Stadium on June 13,is one of the most anticipated games in the tournament.
