Two teenagers and a 21-year-old have been arrested after an attempted arson attack on an Iranian opposition media organisation in Wembley.

An ignited container was thrown towards the building in north-west London at around 8.30pm last evening, the Met police said.

The container landed in a car park and the fire put itself out with no injuries or damage.

The suspects left in the area in a black SUV and were then chased by an Armed Response Vehicle, which began a pursuit when the driver failed to stop for police.

The car crashed on Ballards Lane in North Finchley.
