Homeless woman kicked in head while sheltering in shop doorway with her dog

Shocking CCTV footage caught the moment a man kicked a homeless woman in the head in a cowardly attack.

The victim,in her 50s,was huddled in a doorway with her dog,Lance,trying to keep them both warm when Aaron Nomicas,20,launched the unprovoked assault in Salisbury,Wiltshire,on January 3.

Nomicas had to be held back by shocked onlookers when he tried to land further blows after being called a ‘coward’ by the woman.

He was jailed for six months after pleading guilty to ABH at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court last week.

The woman suffered facial injuries in the attack,but they were not considered life-changing.
