A former prison officer at the notorious HMP Frankland which house Soham killer Ian Huntley has revealed what his time in prison was really like.
Huntley, who was behind bars for the murders of 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2003,was attacked inside a workshop at HMP Frankland last week.
He was bludgeoned in the head with a metal pole, leaving him ‘brain dead with no expectation of survival’.
This is despite HMP Frankland, nicknamed ‘Monster Mansion’,being one of the most secure prisons in the country.
Other criminals housed inside the jail include Wayne Couzens,Levi Bellfield and Hussain Osman who planted one of the London bombs in 2005.

No one is out to get him because of his crimes because they are all the same.’He continued: ‘They are out to get him because they are bored and they have nothing to lose.’Triple killer and rapist Anthony Russell,43,who is serving a whole life order, has been named as a suspect in the attack.Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at .For more stories like this, check our news page.United News - unews.co.za
