The family of a ‘murdered’ toddler have released an emotional tribute to their little girl,who died after being rushed to the hospital last weekend.
Isabelle Rose Welsh,2,who loved dancing and was ‘always full of smiles’,died after being taken to the hospital following reports of concerns for her welfare.
Cleveland Police rushed to Hartington Close,in Thornaby,at about 4.20pm on September 13,where they arrested Alexandra Walker,25,and Harrison Simpson,21,on suspicion of Isabelle’s murder.
Walker has been charged with murder and causing the death of a child. Simpson,also of Hartington Close,is charged with murder,rape and causing the death of a child.
The defendants appeared via video link from prison at Teesside Crown Court on Friday,and a plea hearing has been set for November 6.

Daddy loves you all the world and back.’The family also wishes to thank those who have offered kind words and condolences since the death of the much-loved little girl.Forensic officers were seen on the street last week,with police officers stationed at both the front and the rear of the terraced property which has a child’s slide in the front yard.Flowers,teddy bears,balloons and candles have been left outside the home.

A trial date has not yet been set.Hundreds of people have shared their shock,sadness and condolences to the family on social media.One said,‘What a gorgeous little girl. This world is too cruel.’And another wrote: ‘Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in eternal paradise,beautiful princess.’United News - unews.co.za
