
Canada’s Aya Gold & Silver Inc. has announced high-grade silver drill results from its at-depth drill exploration operations at the Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco.
“The high-grade results once again confirm the strong continuity of silver mineralization both at depth and around the open-pit area,” said Benoit La Salle,President & CEO in a press release.
“Moreover,the new intersection at depth near the Western Fault contact in hole ZG-SF-25-340 extends mineralization further west,continuing to push the boundary of our current resource model”,added Head of the Canadian firm.
Zgounder Silver Mine is the company’s flagship,a wholly-owned (100%) producing asset,located in the Anti-Atlas Mountains. A major expansion to increase processing capacity from 700 to 3,000 tonnes per day was recently completed,with commercial production at the new facility declared in December 2024. The mine produces high-quality silver doré bars.
The company has an aggressive,ongoing exploration program with several other properties in Morocco,including the Zgounder Regional,Tirzzit,Imiter bis,Azegour,and Amizmiz permits.
