Libya’s national football team will face Niger and Benin in Morocco from 23 to 31 March as part of preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The friendlies aim to assess player performance and sharpen both technical and physical readiness.

Fawzi Jaouda,vice-president of the Libyan Football Federation, said the matches will help the coaching staff evaluate the squad, while head coach Aliou Cissé plans to monitor local league players before finalising selections.

Cissé seeks to blend experience with new talent, targeting Libya’s first AFCON qualification since 2012. His contract is reportedly tied to achieving qualification for the tournament,to be co-hosted by Kenya,Uganda, and Tanzania.
