A lucky Brit has scooped a life-changing National Lottery prize on just his third attempt – meaning he can finally spend quality time with his family.
The £10,000-a-month jackpot means the Norwich grandfather can work less and ‘spoil his grandchild rotten’.
He opted for a change of strategy when he bought a Set for Life entry at a local store,relying on his own numbers rather than a Lucky Dip selection.
The father-of-two,who will receive the payment every month for a year,said winning the famous prize was ‘surreal’.
He said: ‘I woke up to check the ticket the day after I won,just to double check I wasn’t dreaming.’
