A man has been charged with murdering his son – who died 14 years after suffering severe head injuries as a baby.

Lejunae Wood,was arrested on Thursday at Heathrow Airport and charged on Friday with the murder of Leajunne Wood.

Leajunne was just four months old when he suffered life-changing injuries during an incident at home in Hayes,west London,in December 2007.

He died aged 14 on December 6,2021.

Pathologist reports from 2023 revealed Leajunne died following complications from a severe head injury,the Met Police said.
