King Mohammed VI assures AfDB newly-elected president of Morocco’s support to all his strategic initiatives

King Mohammed VI has assured the newly-elected president of the African Development Bank,Mauritanian Sidi Ould Tah,that Morocco shall spare no effort in supporting him in achieving his objectives and backing all the strategic initiatives he would launch to support all regional and international member States in financing their infrastructure projects and achieving development and economic integration objectives.

This came in a message the Monarch addressed to Sidi Ould Tah to express to him his warmest congratulations and best wishes of success in his high office.

“Your election to this high office reflects the esteem of the members of the Bank’s Board of Governors for your rich experience and the professionalism you have demonstrated in the various economic and financial positions you have held,whether in your brotherly country,Mauritania,or at the head of multilateral banking institutions,” the Monarch wrote in his message.

The King expressed his confidence that with these credentials,Sidi Ould Eltah will give a strong impetus to the actions of the African Banking Group and strengthen its position and leading role in supporting the efforts of sustainable and comprehensive development of Africa.
