Morocco is busy working to speed up its digital transition by embracing digital technologies,including artificial intelligence in a bid to modernize public services,accelerate socioeconomic development,and enhance the country’s global competitiveness.
To reach its goals,the North African Kingdom has sealed deals with telecom & technology giants,Ericsson and Nokia on the sidelines GITEX Africa 2025 organized in Marrakesh (Apr.14-16).
The agreement signed with Ericsson aims to bolster digital education and support small business growth in Morocco in line with the country’s “Digital Agenda 2030” seeking to promote innovation,upskilling,and inclusive digital transformation.
Moroccan entrepreneurs and small businesses will benefit from Ericsson’s global educational initiatives to develop necessary skills required by Morocco’s rising digital economy.
This strategic cooperation will help equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with essential 21st-century digital skills,contributing to sustainable employment and innovation across sectors in the Kingdom.
Morocco has also teamed with Nokia to advance its digital agenda. The multinational company has pledged to enhance the country’s network connectivity,share its technical expertise,help Morocco to expand high-speed internet access & coverage,and develop a robust digital ecosystem as Morocco gears up to host key international sporting events this year and 2030.
