A group of military instructors from Burkina-Faso have benefited from a training session held lately in Morocco to enhance further their capabilities in military security.
The training shows the growing defense cooperation between Morocco and the West African nation. Last week,the Burkinabe delegation visited the Moroccan Directorate of Military History. They were briefed on the history of the Moroccan Army and its participation in peacekeeping operations and humanitarian aid under the auspices of the United Nations.
The training is part of Morocco’s commitment to fostering security cooperation with all West African countries facing increasing threats to regional stability.
Morocco is sharing its military experiences with African countries to enable them address transnational threats,including terrorism,organized crime,and humanitarian crises.
The visit of the Burkinabe officers translates the strong security partnership existing between Rabat and Ouagadougou,and confirms Morocco’s leading role in regional peace and stability.
