If you’re planning on finally doing that DIY project or sprucing up the garden this Early May Bank Holiday,you might need a few supplies.
Thankfully – unlike over Easter – most major DIY stores across the UK are still open today.
However,some may have restricted hours,and the delivery service timings may be different.
Here,we take a look at the opening times for B&Q,Wickes,Screwfix,and the Range,which has taken over several Homebase stores.

B&Q stores will be open as normal across the UK this bank holiday Monday.
The chain will continue to offer its delivery service to stores,sites and homes.
Use the ScrewFix store finder,meanwhile,to double check your local branch’s opening times.

Most Homebase stores have now closed or been taken over by The Range.
Several Range stores have Homebase garden centres,however,and a few sell Homebase kitchens. They also sell non-Homebase branded DIY products.
The Range outlets should all be open as usual on Monday,but it’s worth checking the chain’s store finder for details on your closest shop.

Wickes is open as normal in all stores across the UK,the retailer has confirmed.
Normal opening hours for Mondays are 7am to 8pm.
