Morocco’s rapidly growing aeronautics ecosystem has attracted a new investor due to the country’s incentives, stability and proximity to European market.
German Masterflex Company, which specializes in hoses and hose systems,is building a new production site near Casablanca, says the firm in a press release. The move strengthens the company’s global supply capabilities and taps into Morocco’s growing role as a strategic hub for aviation manufacturing.
“The global aviation industry is currently experiencing an extraordinary increase in demand for air travel and is reaching record highs both nationally and internationally,” says CEO Dr. Andreas Bastin, noting that the Casablanca site will enable the company to meet a growing demand and remain competitive in the future.
“The good training in Morocco, adherence to high quality standards, and geographical proximity are all factors that convinced us to choose Morocco as another production location after extensive international research,” says Mr. Bastin.
The new Casablanca subsidiary will be part of Matzen & Timm, the specialist for aerospace applications. Starting 2026,it will produce molded parts, bellows and hoses “designed in Germany but made in Morocco”.
